“Je suis un mec du sud… et j'en suis fier ! Un provençal comme il en existe encore, un enfant du soleil nourri à la bouillabaisse, à l'aïoli, toujours parfumé à l'huile essentielle de lavande, douché au savon de Marseille.
Mais au-de-là de mes racines sudiste une passion m’anime depuis tout petit : la culture populaire de l’oncle Sam, les B movies, la BD qui tache et l’humour corrosif !
Mon passé et mon présent artistique est principalement accès sur l'image.
Durant plusieurs années, j'ai oeuvré au service de la vidéo et de la pellicule, avec toujours un seul leitmotiv, celui de partager les univers fantastiques qui m'habitent.
L'arrivée des nouvelles technologies graphiques, a été pour moi une révélation. Très vite, j'ai appris à connaître certains outils indispensables à la création numérique et parallèlement à mes activités sur les images en mouvements. J'ai commencé à prendre un pied phénoménal à créer toutes sortes d'illustrations, ayant principalement pour thème les super-héros.
Il y a sept ans, je créai un univers, haut en couleur, que je baptisai "ZE PASTAGA CIRKUS UNIVERSE" un univers très personnel peuplé de super-héros ayant pour origine Marseille et notre belle Provence.
Pastaga Cirkus reste pour moi, l'aboutissement de mon adoration pour les comics et les super-héros, qui remontent à ma tendre enfance, car dès le moment où j'ai tenu un crayon, j'ai créé les personnages qui hantaient et faisaient loi à mon esprit, mais ceci est une autre histoire...

“I'm a southern guy…and I'm proud of it! A Provençal as it still exists, a child of the sun fed with bouillabaisse, aioli, always perfumed with essential oil of lavender, showered with Marseille soap.
But beyond my southern roots, a passion has driven me since childhood: the popular culture of Uncle Sam, B movies, comic strips that stain and corrosive humor!
My past and my artistic present is mainly access on the image.
For several years, I worked in the service of video and film, always with a single leitmotif, that of sharing the fantastic universes that inhabit me.
The arrival of new graphic technologies was a revelation for me. Very quickly, I learned to know some essential tools for digital creation and parallel to my activities on moving images. I started to get a phenomenal foothold creating all kinds of illustrations, mostly superhero themed.
Seven years ago, I created a colorful universe that I baptized "ZE PASTAGA CIRKUS UNIVERSE" a very personal universe populated by superheroes originating from Marseille and our beautiful Provence.
Pastaga Cirkus remains for me, the culmination of my adoration for comics and superheroes, which goes back to my early childhood, because from the moment I held a pencil, I created the characters that haunted and made law in my mind, but that's another story...
